There’s an unofficial net in Athens, just outside the 2m band. You will hear amateurs who will often nip in and out of other bands - but you will never hear a callsign. There’s an element of the old CB code - nicknames and first names only.

Anyway I made a contact from Kesariani hill all the way to Nikea hospital today, which isn’t too bad.
